Catherine A. Brown
Chief Administrative Officer - Wells Fargo Advisors
Catherine Brown is the chief administrative officer for Wells Fargo Advisors, where she also oversees the Firm's Client Relationship Group. In this role, she oversees the Premier Services Group, the employee listening and engagement platforms, and the company’s overall business administration. She also sits on the Wells Fargo Advisors Operating Committee.
Catherine has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. She began her career as a client associate at Dean Witter Reynolds, then was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, and then served in various roles at PNC Bank. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2011, and for six years was a senior human resources (HR) business partner for its retail brokerage channel. Before her current position, she most recently was the head of HR for Wells Fargo Advisors.
Catherine earned her bachelor’s in finance from Ohio University’s College of Business and is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School. She is a volunteer coach for Girls on the Run St. Louis and serves as the executive sponsor for Wells Fargo & Company's St. Louis Volunteer Chapter.
She and her husband, Michael, are proud parents to Drew and Colin, who attend the University of South Carolina and the University of Arkansas, respectively.
