Wells Fargo Names Mark Hubbert Chief Risk and Credit Officer of Wells Fargo Advisors
St. Louis, August 5, 2015 – Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) announced today Mark Hubbert has been named Chief Risk and Credit Officer of Wells Fargo Advisors. He will begin his new role on Sept. 1.
Hubbert has over 20 years of experience at Wells Fargo. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Wealth Brokerage Services, the in-bank sales channel of Wells Fargo Advisors, a position he has held since 1997.
"Mark is a proven leader and trusted advisor within the brokerage and wealth management businesses of Wells Fargo, and I am pleased to welcome him to our team," said Vic Albrecht, head of Risk Management for Wells Fargo’s Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement (WBR) division.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Hubbert served as president in the retail discount brokerage business for First Fidelity Brokerage Services. Prior to that, he held several sales development and compliance roles with Citigroup.
In his new role, Hubbert will have responsibility for managing all risk in Wells Fargo Advisors, including those risks associated with new products and public offerings, market and trading risk, technology risk, credit risk, operational risk, business continuity planning and Basel reporting. He will join the Wells Fargo Advisors Operating Committee, led by President Mary Mack.
Hubbert replaces Jimmie Lenz, who has been named WBR’s technology risk director.
