Wells Fargo Advisors Names Joann Neau As New Head Of Marketing
St. Louis, March 4, 2016 - Wells Fargo Advisors today announced that JoAnn Neau has been named its new head of marketing.
Neau, previously the marketing leader for Wells Fargo’s Abbot Downing business, will report to Marshall Butler, head of marketing for Wealth & Investment Management at Wells Fargo.
Neau will lead the team that provides strategic marketing counsel and support for Wells Fargo Advisors’ product and advice groups as well as the firm’s retail brokerage, bank-based, independent and WellsTrade™ business channels. She will also serve on the Wells Fargo Advisors’ Operating Committee.

She is a practiced professional who brings in-depth insight into marketing disciplines, including digital marketing, as well as solid experience across brokerage and wealth management,” said Butler.
Before joining Wells Fargo, Neau led the delivery of marketing and communications strategies for the RBC Wealth Management business in the United States, where she also had responsibility for the digital channel strategy for the global wealth management platform. This included the development of online, social media and mobility strategies.
Neau serves on the board of trustees for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a master’s degree in business administration in marketing and finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
