Wells Fargo Advisors Cash Sweep Rates & Yields

Bank Deposit Sweep

Our Cash Sweep Program allows clients to earn a return on uninvested cash balances by automatically "sweeping" cash balances into a Sweep vehicle until such balances are invested or otherwise used to satisfy obligations arising in the account. The Bank Deposit Sweep is the exclusive taxable sweep offering for all eligible accounts and the only sweep option available for eligible Standard Investment Accounts.

As a feature of the Command Asset Program, all accounts in a client household with a Command Account are eligible for the preferred Command interest rate on the Bank Deposit Sweep*.

*The money market funds offered in the cash sweep program include those for which an affiliate of Wells Fargo Advisors provides investment management or other services.

The Bank Deposit Sweep consists of interest-bearing deposit accounts at four banks ("Affiliated Banks") affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors. The rate of return for each sweep option shown will vary over time and may be lower than rates available to clients making deposits directly with Affiliated Banks, or at other banks, or available by investing directly in other money market funds not offered through the sweep program. The rate will be tiered based upon account type and the overall household value of your account(s) with Wells Fargo Advisors. For further information, please see the Wells Fargo Advisors Cash Sweep Program Disclosure Statement (PDF).

Past performance does not guarantee future results. The performance quoted represents past performance and current performance may be higher or lower. Investment return and principle value of a money market fund will fluctuate so that an investor’s shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Performance includes the reinvestment of income dividends and capital gain distributions. The 7-Day Current Yield is based on the average net income per share over a 7-day period and is expressed as an annualized percentage rate. The 7-Day Effective Yield is based on the 7-Day Current Yield and then compounded and annualized. Although each money market fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in these funds. An investment in these funds is not guaranteed or insured by the FDIC or any other government agency and not a deposit of any bank affiliate. The yields for each money market fund will fluctuate and there can be no guarantee that a fund will achieve its objective or any particular tax-exempt yield. Please consider the investment objectives, risk, charges and expenses carefully before investing. Money Market Fund prospectuses, which contain this and other information, can be obtained by calling your Financial Advisor. Read the prospectus carefully before you invest. Information current as of 01/25/2016.

The grouping of accounts into a household is based on account eligibility and family relationships. We reserve the right to change the asset tiers from time to time. Rates in each asset tier will vary over time.
